About the role

CoreData Systems is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need a Vue.js Frontend Developer to reinforce UI security, implement strict CSP policies, and audit third‑party components. This part‑time contract offers flexible scheduling and direct impact on our security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate security best practices into existing Vue.js codebase
• Refactor components to eliminate XSS and CSRF risks
• Collaborate with backend engineers to enforce secure API consumption
• Perform code reviews focused on front‑end vulnerabilities
• Document security enhancements and create developer guidelines

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with Vue.js (2.x/3.x)
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS
• Understanding of web security standards (CSP, CORS, OWASP)
• Ability to write clean, testable code
• Effective communication in a remote team

Nice to have

• Experience with security testing tools (e.g., Snyk, npm audit)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for frontend builds
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) security features
