About the role

Silverline Labs is launching a sprint to embed CI/CD and platform automation into its data services. We need a Database Administrator who can design, implement, and fine‑tune automated release pipelines for database schemas and migrations, ensuring rapid, reliable deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD workflows for PostgreSQL, MongoDB and MySQL using tools like GitLab CI, Jenkins or GitHub Actions
• Automate schema versioning, data seeding and rollback strategies
• Collaborate with DevOps to integrate database changes into overall platform pipelines
• Monitor performance, conduct capacity planning, and resolve release‑time issues
• Document automation scripts and best‑practice guidelines

Must-have skills

• 5+ years managing PostgreSQL, MongoDB and MySQL in production
• Proven experience building database CI/CD pipelines
• Strong scripting skills (Shell, Python, or PowerShell)
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform or Ansible for infrastructure as code
• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus or Grafana
