Senior AWS Cloud Engineer – Cloud Migration

About the role

NexGen Media is expanding its B2B platform with a multi‑tenant feature set. We need an AWS Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and optimize the underlying cloud architecture that will support isolated tenant environments while maintaining high performance and security.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and provision scalable, multi‑tenant AWS resources using CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment of tenant‑specific services.
• Configure networking, IAM, and security controls to isolate tenant data.
• Monitor cost, performance, and reliability, and tune resources accordingly.
• Collaborate with product and backend teams to translate feature requirements into cloud solutions.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with AWS core services (EC2, VPC, RDS, S3, Lambda).
• Proficiency in Docker containerization and orchestration.
• Solid DevOps practices: CI/CD, IaC, monitoring, and logging.
• Linux system administration and scripting.

Nice to have

• Experience with multi‑tenant SaaS architectures.
• Knowledge of serverless patterns and cost‑optimization strategies.
• Familiarity with Terraform or CloudFormation modules for reusable patterns.
