About the role
Keystone Digital is modernizing a legacy production platform that must stay live 24/7. We need a seasoned Java Developer to redesign core services, improve scalability, and implement zero‑downtime deployment patterns.
Key responsibilities
- Refactor monolithic Java code into Spring Boot microservices
- Design and implement blue‑green or canary release pipelines
- Collaborate with QA to automate integration tests for continuous delivery
- Monitor performance and tune JVM settings for high‑throughput workloads
- Document migration steps and rollback procedures
Must-have skills
- 5+ years of Java development experience
- Deep knowledge of Spring Boot and RESTful APIs
- Hands‑on experience building and operating microservices in production
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
Nice to have
- Experience with zero‑downtime deployment strategies
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Background in legacy system migration
