About the role

NexGen Media is modernizing its operations with a scalable data pipeline and analytics platform. We need an AWS Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and fine‑tune cloud services that feed real‑time insights to our ops teams.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and deploy serverless data ingestion workflows on AWS.
• Build automated ETL pipelines using Lambda, Step Functions, and Glue.
• Configure secure networking, IAM policies, and monitoring for data flows.
• Optimize cost and performance of storage and compute resources.
• Collaborate with data analysts to ensure pipeline reliability and data quality.

Must-have skills

• Hands‑on experience with AWS services (S3, Lambda, Kinesis, Redshift).
• Proficiency in containerization with Docker.
• Strong DevOps mindset: CI/CD, IaC, and automation.
• Linux system administration and scripting.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of data streaming frameworks (Kafka, Kinesis Data Streams).
• Familiarity with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with monitoring tools like CloudWatch or Grafana.
