About the role

NovaForge Tech is launching a focused sprint to automate its CI/CD pipeline and accelerate release cycles. We need a hands‑on CI/CD Pipeline Engineer to design, implement, and fine‑tune the automation workflow across our cloud environment.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and build end‑to‑end CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Containerize build agents and deploy artifacts with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Integrate automated testing, security scans, and performance benchmarks into the pipeline.
• Collaborate with developers to streamline branch strategies and release tagging.
• Monitor pipeline health, troubleshoot failures, and optimize for speed and reliability.

Must-have skills

• Proven experience designing CI/CD pipelines for microservice architectures.
• Strong command of Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services.
• Solid scripting skills (Bash, Python, or PowerShell) for automation.
• Understanding of version control, branching models, and artifact repositories.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Terraform or CloudFormation for infrastructure as code.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana.
• Knowledge of security best practices in CI/CD workflows.
