About the role

NexGen Media is seeking an experienced Database Administrator to manage and maintain our database systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database administration and be able to work independently in a remote setting. The Database Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, security, and performance of our databases.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain database architectures
• Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues
• Develop and implement database security measures

Must-have skills

• 3+ years of experience in database administration
• Strong knowledge of database concepts and design principles
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or MySQL

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud-based database services
