About the role

Pinecrest Systems is launching a greenfield SaaS product for a remote‑first team. We need a Docker Kubernetes Specialist to shape the container orchestration strategy from day one and ensure smooth scaling as the service grows.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a Kubernetes cluster architecture tailored to the new product.
• Containerize micro‑services with Docker, establishing best‑practice images and registries.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines that automatically build, test, and deploy to the cluster.
• Define resource quotas, autoscaling policies, and monitoring alerts.
• Collaborate with developers to embed DevOps practices into their workflows.

Must-have skills

• Proven experience deploying Docker containers in production.
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes networking, storage, and security.
• Hands‑on with Helm charts, GitOps, and cloud‑native tooling.

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform or Pulumi for infrastructure as code.
• Familiarity with Prometheus/Grafana monitoring stacks.
• Background in SaaS product launches.
