About the role

Summit Digital is building a high‑impact web platform for enterprise clients. As a Frontend React Developer you will lead the test automation uplift for the new LaunchGuard Suite, aiming to slash regression risk before each product launch. Your work will directly improve release confidence and speed.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement Cypress end‑to‑end test scripts for the LaunchGuard Suite UI components.
• Integrate automated visual regression testing using Percy into the CI pipeline.
• Refactor existing React codebase to improve testability and component isolation.
• Collaborate with QA engineers to define test coverage goals and milestones for each sprint.
• Document test scenarios, results, and best practices in the project wiki.
• Monitor flaky test trends and propose stability improvements.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with React (hooks, context) and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Proficiency in Cypress, Jest, and testing-library for UI automation.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD integration (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Ability to write clean, maintainable HTML/CSS with responsive design.
• Experience debugging front‑end issues in Chrome DevTools.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Percy or similar visual testing tools.
• Knowledge of Storybook for component documentation.
