About the role

Vertex Analytics is building a next‑gen analytics enablement platform for operations teams. As a Full Stack Developer you will own the development of the OpsStream Hub, a data pipeline module that ingests, transforms, and visualizes operational metrics in real time.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful APIs in NodeJS to pull raw logs from Kafka streams.
• Develop React dashboards using Material‑UI to surface KPI visualizations for ops managers.
• Create PostgreSQL schemas and write performant queries for time‑series analytics.
• Integrate CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, ensuring automated testing and deployment to AWS ECS.
• Collaborate with data engineers to define JSON payload contracts and validate data quality.
• Deliver a functional prototype of OpsStream Hub within the first 4 weeks, followed by iterative enhancements.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with React and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Proficiency in NodeJS server‑side development.
• Hands‑on knowledge of PostgreSQL and query optimization.
• Familiarity with Docker, AWS ECS, and CI/CD tooling.
• Understanding of data pipelines, Kafka or similar streaming platforms.

Nice to have

• Experience with data visualization libraries like D3.js.
• Background in building operational analytics tools.
