About the role

Vertex Analytics is launching a sprint to accelerate releases through CI/CD and platform automation. We need a Java Developer to design, implement, and refine pipelines that enable faster, reliable deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools
• Automate environment provisioning and configuration management
• Integrate automated testing and quality gates into the release flow
• Collaborate with DevOps and QA to ensure seamless handoffs
• Document pipeline architecture and best practices

Must-have skills

• Strong Java development experience
• Proficiency with Spring Boot and microservices architecture
• Hands‑on experience building CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and scripting

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Knowledge of Terraform or Ansible
• Background in performance monitoring and logging tools
