About the role

We are launching a security hardening initiative for our cloud‑hosted applications. As a MongoDB Specialist you will design and implement robust data protection measures, ensuring compliance and resilience across our services.

Key responsibilities

• Audit existing MongoDB deployments for security gaps
• Configure encryption at rest and in transit
• Implement role‑based access controls and least‑privilege policies
• Develop automated scripts for vulnerability scanning and patching
• Collaborate with DevOps to integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines

Must-have skills

• Deep experience with MongoDB security features
• Strong knowledge of TLS, authentication mechanisms, and auditing
• Proficiency in scripting languages for automation
• Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Nice to have

• Certifications such as MongoDB DBA or Security+
• Experience with containerized MongoDB deployments
