About the role
Pinecrest Systems is preparing a coordinated mobile and backend launch for a new app store release. We need a .NET Core Developer to shape the server side, ensure API stability, and align data flows with the upcoming mobile client.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement RESTful services in .NET Core that power the mobile app.
- Integrate Azure services for authentication, storage, and messaging.
- Collaborate with the mobile team to define contract schemas and versioning.
- Write unit and integration tests to guarantee release‑ready quality.
- Optimize performance and monitor endpoints during the pre‑launch window.
Must-have skills
- Strong experience with .NET Core and C#.
- Proficiency in Azure cloud services (App Service, Functions, SQL).
- Hands‑on API design and documentation (OpenAPI/Swagger).
- Ability to work independently in a remote, fast‑paced environment.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with mobile backend patterns (push notifications, offline sync).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker) for deployment.
