About the role

Pinecrest Systems is launching an integration project that links its billing platform, CRM, and several internal APIs. We need a Node.js developer who can design and implement seamless data flows while maintaining high performance and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and develop middleware services to synchronize billing, CRM, and internal data.
• Create and document RESTful endpoints using Express.
• Implement error handling, logging, and retry mechanisms for robust integrations.
• Collaborate with product owners to refine integration requirements and timelines.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with Node.js and Express.
• Proficient in JavaScript and building REST APIs.
• Understanding of API authentication (OAuth, API keys).
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with billing systems or CRM platforms.
• Experience with message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka).
• Knowledge of Docker or containerization.
