Node.js Developer – Multi-Region System Integration

About the role

Northbay Systems is launching an integration project that links its billing platform, CRM, and several internal APIs. We need a Node.js Developer who can design, implement, and test the glue code that ensures data flows reliably across these systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build RESTful services to synchronize billing and CRM data
• Create middleware adapters for internal APIs, handling authentication and error recovery
• Write automated tests and set up CI pipelines for continuous verification
• Collaborate with product owners to refine integration requirements and edge cases
• Document API contracts and integration workflows for future maintenance

Must-have skills

• Strong proficiency in NodeJS and Express
• Deep understanding of JavaScript ES6+ features
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs
• Ability to troubleshoot API latency and data consistency issues

Nice to have

• Familiarity with billing or CRM platforms (e.g., Stripe, Salesforce)
• Knowledge of message queues or event‑driven architectures
• Experience with Docker or containerized deployments
