About the role

TechFlow Inc is enhancing its release pipeline with automated regression testing. We need a PostgreSQL Administrator to design, implement, and maintain database fixtures that feed test suites, reducing launch risk and improving confidence.

Key responsibilities

• Create and version‑control PostgreSQL test schemas aligned with CI pipelines
• Develop scripts to generate realistic data sets for automated regression runs
• Optimize query performance for large‑scale test loads
• Collaborate with QA engineers to integrate database checkpoints into test automation frameworks
• Monitor and troubleshoot data‑related test failures, providing rapid root‑cause analysis

Must-have skills

• Strong experience administering PostgreSQL in production and test environments
• Proficiency writing complex SQL, functions, and stored procedures
• Hands‑on knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Familiarity with data migration and backup strategies

Nice to have

• Experience with MongoDB or MySQL for cross‑database testing scenarios
• Background in test automation frameworks such as Selenium or Cypress
• Understanding of containerized database deployments (Docker, Kubernetes)
