About the role

BrightMart Solutions is launching a CI/CD sprint to accelerate platform releases. We need a PostgreSQL Administrator to design, automate, and maintain database pipelines that support rapid, reliable deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and manage PostgreSQL clusters for high‑availability in CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop automation scripts (Ansible, Terraform) to provision databases on demand.
• Integrate database migrations with GitLab/GitHub Actions for seamless rollouts.
• Monitor performance, tune queries, and resolve replication issues during sprint cycles.
• Collaborate with DevOps and developers to embed best‑practice DB security and backup strategies.

Must-have skills

• 3+ years managing PostgreSQL in production environments.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python) and infrastructure‑as‑code.
• Strong understanding of database backup, recovery, and replication.

Nice to have

• Experience with containerized databases (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of MongoDB or MySQL for cross‑platform migrations.
• Familiarity with monitoring stacks like Prometheus/Grafana.
