About the role

CloudWave Digital is building a next‑generation conversational platform that leverages large language models to deliver real‑time assistance across multiple channels. We need a Prompt Engineer to design, test, and refine prompts that drive accurate, context‑aware responses for a pilot integration with a client support system.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and iterate prompt templates for LLMs to meet specific business intents.
• Collaborate with data scientists to fine‑tune model outputs using few‑shot and chain‑of‑thought techniques.
• Design evaluation metrics and conduct A/B testing to measure prompt effectiveness.
• Document prompt engineering best practices and version control implementations.
• Integrate prompts into existing API workflows and ensure seamless handoff to downstream services.

Must-have skills

• Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.
• Experience with LLMs such as GPT‑4, Claude, or Llama.
• Strong understanding of prompt design patterns and bias mitigation.
• Ability to work with REST APIs to embed prompts into production pipelines.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and collaborative development.

Nice to have

• Background in NLP evaluation frameworks.
• Exposure to cloud platforms for model hosting.
