About the role

BrightMart Solutions is launching a greenfield SaaS product. We need a Python Backend Developer to design and implement core services that will power the platform from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Architect scalable micro‑services using Django and REST principles
• Design PostgreSQL schemas that support high‑volume transactional data
• Write automated tests and ensure code quality with CI pipelines
• Collaborate with product owners to translate requirements into technical specs
• Document APIs and deployment procedures for a remote‑first team

Must-have skills

• Strong Python programming experience
• Proficiency with Django framework
• Deep understanding of REST API design
• Hands‑on PostgreSQL database development

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration
• Experience building SaaS platforms in a remote environment
