About the role

We are launching an intensive sprint to automate our CI/CD pipeline and streamline platform releases. As a Python Backend Developer you will design, implement, and refine automation scripts that accelerate deployment cycles while maintaining code quality and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop Python services that integrate with Git, Docker, and Kubernetes for automated builds and deployments.
• Create and maintain reusable CI/CD templates and shared libraries.
• Refactor existing backend modules to be CI/CD‑ready, adding unit and integration tests.
• Collaborate with DevOps and QA teams to troubleshoot pipeline failures and optimize performance.
• Document automation workflows and provide knowledge transfer to the engineering team.

Must-have skills

• Strong Python programming experience, especially in backend services.
• Proficiency with Django and building RESTful APIs.
• Hands‑on experience with PostgreSQL schema design and migrations.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.

Nice to have

• Experience with container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Understanding of monitoring and logging solutions.
