About the role

LumenWorks is extending a B2B SaaS platform with a new multi‑tenant feature set. We need a Python Backend Developer who can design, implement, and ship isolated tenant logic while preserving existing service contracts. The work is fully remote and deadline‑driven, with close collaboration across product and DevOps.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and develop multi‑tenant data models in PostgreSQL
• Build robust REST APIs using Django and DRF to serve tenant‑specific endpoints
• Implement authentication, authorization, and quota enforcement per tenant
• Write unit and integration tests, ensuring high coverage and CI compatibility
• Optimize query performance and monitor resource usage in a shared environment

Must-have skills

• Strong Python programming experience (3+ years)
• Deep knowledge of Django and Django REST Framework
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL schema design and query tuning
• Experience building multi‑tenant SaaS backends
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Docker

Nice to have

• Exposure to async Python (FastAPI, asyncio)
• Understanding of cloud services (AWS, GCP) for scaling
• Background in performance monitoring tools (New Relic, Prometheus)
