About the role

Northbay Systems is revamping the performance and reliability of its customer‑facing services. We need a detail‑oriented QA Software Tester to design and execute tests that validate speed, stability, and user experience under load.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain functional, regression, and performance test suites.
• Design automated scripts using Selenium to simulate real‑world traffic.
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce defects and verify fixes.
• Track metrics, generate reports, and recommend improvements.
• Participate in sprint planning to align testing priorities with release goals.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience in manual and automated QA testing.
• Proficiency with Selenium WebDriver and test framework integration.
• Solid understanding of performance testing concepts and tools.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test automation in Jenkins.
• Experience with load testing tools such as JMeter or Gatling.
• Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
