About the role

NexGen Media is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need a detail‑oriented QA Software Tester to design and execute test suites that validate security controls, performance thresholds, and regression stability across multiple environments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium for web and API endpoints.
• Create manual test cases focused on security validation, penetration test verification, and compliance checks.
• Collaborate with DevSecOps to integrate test results into CI pipelines.
• Report defects, track remediation, and verify fixes before release.
• Document test plans, results, and metrics for stakeholder review.

Must-have skills

• Proven experience in QA testing of cloud‑based applications.
• Strong knowledge of Selenium WebDriver and test automation frameworks.
• Understanding of security testing principles and common vulnerabilities.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with OWASP testing guidelines.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Basic scripting skills in Python or JavaScript.
