REST API Developer Needed for SaaS Integration

About the role

CoreData Systems is expanding its data platform and needs a focused REST API Developer to design and implement high‑performance services. You will work closely with product owners to translate business requirements into clean, scalable endpoints that power our analytics dashboards.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and document RESTful APIs using NodeJS
• Integrate with PostgreSQL databases and ensure optimal query performance
• Implement authentication, rate limiting, and error handling
• Write unit and integration tests to maintain code quality
• Collaborate with front‑end and DevOps teams for seamless releases

Must-have skills

• Strong experience building REST APIs with NodeJS
• Proficient JavaScript (ES6+) and asynchronous programming
• Hands‑on PostgreSQL knowledge, including schema design
• Understanding of API security best practices

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker or container orchestration
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure)
