About the role

NovaForge Tech is creating a data pipeline and analytics enablement platform for operations teams. We need an Android Developer to build native modules that ingest, transform, and visualise operational data in real time on mobile devices.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement Kotlin‑based data ingestion services on Android
• Integrate RESTful and streaming APIs for analytics feeds
• Build UI components that present actionable insights to field operators
• Collaborate with backend engineers to optimise data sync and caching
• Write unit and UI tests to ensure reliability under variable network conditions

Must-have skills

• 5+ years Android development experience
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java
• Hands‑on with Android Jetpack, Coroutines, and Room
• Experience building data‑driven mobile apps
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for Android

Nice to have

• Knowledge of data streaming (Kafka, MQTT) on mobile
• Experience with analytics SDKs (Firebase, Amplitude)
• Background in operations or field‑service tooling
