About the role

Cascade Apps is launching a rapid CI/CD and platform automation sprint to accelerate release cycles. We need an AWS Cloud Engineer who can design, implement, and fine‑tune automated pipelines that support frequent deployments while maintaining high reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and build end‑to‑end CI/CD workflows on AWS using CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy.
• Containerize services with Docker and integrate them into automated testing and deployment stages.
• Implement infrastructure as code with CloudFormation or Terraform to provision scalable environments.
• Monitor pipeline health, troubleshoot failures, and continuously improve performance.
• Collaborate with developers to embed security checks and compliance controls.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch).
• Proficiency in Docker containerization and orchestration.
• Hands‑on DevOps practice building CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid Linux administration and scripting abilities.

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of serverless architectures.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana.
