About the role

Northbay Systems is launching a strategic integration effort linking its billing platform, CRM, and internal APIs. We need an AWS Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and automate the cloud backbone that will enable seamless data flow and reliable service orchestration.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and provision AWS services (VPC, ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS) for the integration pipeline.
• Containerize micro‑services with Docker and manage deployments via CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement secure networking, IAM policies, and monitoring to ensure compliance and uptime.
• Collaborate with product and data teams to translate integration requirements into scalable cloud solutions.
• Provide documentation and knowledge transfer for ongoing operations.

Must-have skills

• Deep experience with AWS core services and infrastructure as code.
• Strong Docker and container orchestration expertise.
• Proven DevOps practices: CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring.
• Solid Linux administration and scripting skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with billing or CRM system APIs.
• Knowledge of serverless patterns and event‑driven architectures.
