About the role

BlueSky Ventures is building a next‑generation decentralized finance platform. We need a senior Blockchain Engineer to design, develop, and deploy robust smart contracts that power core lending and staking features.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement secure Solidity contracts for core DeFi modules.
• Integrate smart contracts with front‑end dApps using Web3 libraries.
• Conduct thorough unit and integration testing with frameworks like Hardhat.
• Collaborate with product and security teams to define specifications.
• Optimize gas usage and ensure scalability.
• Document contract logic and deployment processes.

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of experience in blockchain development.
• Proficiency in Solidity and smart contract patterns.
• Strong JavaScript and Python programming skills.
• Experience with REST API integration.
• Solid understanding of security best practices for smart contracts.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with layer‑2 solutions.
• Experience auditing contracts for vulnerabilities.
