Senior DevOps Engineer for End-to-End Kubernetes Deployment

About the role

Pinecrest Systems is launching a greenfield SaaS product and needs a DevOps Engineer to design and implement the core infrastructure from scratch. You will work with a remote‑first, agile team to ensure the platform is secure, scalable, and highly available.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and provision AWS resources using IaC tools
• Build automated CI/CD pipelines for microservices deployments
• Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate them on Kubernetes
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for production reliability
• Collaborate with developers to embed DevSecOps practices

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with AWS cloud services
• Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes orchestration
• Hands‑on CI/CD pipeline creation (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar)
• Solid scripting knowledge (Bash, Python, or PowerShell)
• Understanding of networking, security groups, and IAM

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation
• Familiarity with service mesh technologies
• Background in observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana
