About the role

Pinecrest Systems is creating a data pipeline and analytics enablement platform for operations teams. We need a GraphQL API Developer to design, implement, and optimize the GraphQL layer that powers real‑time insights and downstream reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and develop a scalable GraphQL API on top of existing data sources
• Integrate with REST services, databases, and streaming pipelines
• Collaborate with data engineers to model schemas that support analytics use cases
• Implement authentication, authorization, and performance monitoring
• Write comprehensive documentation and unit tests

Must-have skills

• Proven experience building production GraphQL APIs
• Strong knowledge of React for client‑side query consumption
• NodeJS backend development expertise
• Understanding of REST API patterns and integration

Nice to have

• Familiarity with data warehousing or big‑data technologies
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for API deployment
