About the role
BlueSky Ventures is revamping its customer‑facing iOS services to boost performance and reliability. We need an iOS App Developer who can dive into existing code, profile bottlenecks, and implement robust solutions that scale under load.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze current app performance using Instruments and profiling tools
- Refactor networking layers for efficient REST API handling
- Implement background processing and caching strategies
- Write unit and UI tests to ensure reliability across iOS versions
- Collaborate with product and QA to validate improvements
Must-have skills
- 5+ years of Swift development for iOS
- Deep understanding of REST API integration and error handling
- Experience optimizing app launch time and memory usage
- Proficiency with Xcode, Instruments, and CI pipelines
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Combine or RxSwift
- Familiarity with SwiftUI migration
- Background in performance testing frameworks
