About the role

Northbay Systems is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need an iOS App Developer to reinforce the client side, ensure data protection, and align with our security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Audit existing iOS codebase for security vulnerabilities
• Implement encryption, secure storage, and authentication flows
• Integrate hardened REST API endpoints with proper certificate pinning
• Write unit and integration tests focused on security scenarios
• Collaborate with cloud engineers to verify end‑to‑end protection

Must-have skills

• Strong Swift proficiency and iOS app architecture experience
• Deep understanding of iOS security best practices (Keychain, Data Protection, etc.)
• Experience consuming and securing REST APIs
• Ability to produce clean, documented, testable code

Nice to have

• Knowledge of OWASP Mobile Top 10
• Familiarity with cloud IAM and token‑based auth
