About the role

Vertex Analytics is preparing a coordinated mobile and backend launch for a new app store offering. We need a Java Developer to bridge API services with mobile client requirements, ensuring seamless data flow and performance under tight release timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful microservices using Spring Boot
• Collaborate with mobile engineers to define API contracts and response payloads
• Optimize service latency and scalability for high‑traffic launch days
• Write unit and integration tests, and maintain CI pipelines
• Document endpoints and versioning strategy for future mobile updates

Must-have skills

• Strong Java expertise (5+ years)
• Deep experience with Spring Boot and microservice architecture
• Proficiency in building and consuming JSON/REST APIs
• Understanding of mobile‑backend synchronization patterns

Nice to have

• Kubernetes or Docker container experience
• Familiarity with mobile platforms (Android/iOS) data handling
• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana
