About the role
Summit Digital is enhancing its operations with a robust data pipeline and analytics enablement. We need a MongoDB Specialist to design, implement, and optimize the data flow that powers real‑time insights for our teams.
Key responsibilities
- Architect and build MongoDB collections tailored for high‑throughput ingestion
- Develop ETL processes that move data from source systems into analytical stores
- Implement aggregation pipelines and indexing strategies for fast query performance
- Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to define schema and data quality rules
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and tune the pipeline for reliability and scalability
Must-have skills
- Deep expertise in MongoDB design, aggregation, and performance tuning
- Strong command of JavaScript and NodeJS for data processing scripts
- Experience building data pipelines and integrating with analytics tools
- Proven ability to work independently in a remote freelance setting
Nice to have
- Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS or GCP
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker) for deployment
