About the role

Pinecrest Systems is expanding a B2B SaaS product with a new multi‑tenant feature set. We need a MongoDB Specialist to design, implement, and optimize tenant‑isolated data stores while ensuring performance and security across all clients.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and configure sharded clusters for multi‑tenant isolation
• Develop data models that support dynamic tenant schemas
• Implement indexing, aggregation pipelines, and TTL strategies for each tenant
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate MongoDB operations into Node.js services
• Conduct performance testing and tune queries for scale
• Document best practices and handover knowledge to the internal team

Must-have skills

• Deep experience with MongoDB deployment, scaling, and security
• Proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript ecosystem
• Strong understanding of multi‑tenant architecture patterns
• Ability to write efficient aggregation pipelines and indexes
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for database migrations

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker or Kubernetes for DB containerization
• Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus or MongoDB Atlas alerts
