About the role

Pinecrest Systems is expanding its B2B SaaS platform with a new multi‑tenant feature set. We need a MongoDB Specialist to design, implement, and optimize tenant‑isolated data stores while ensuring performance and security at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and provision sharded MongoDB clusters for multi‑tenant isolation
• Develop migration scripts to move existing tenant data into the new schema
• Implement indexing, aggregation pipelines, and query optimization for high‑throughput workloads
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate MongoDB operations into Node.js services
• Set up monitoring, alerting, and backup strategies aligned with SLA requirements

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of production MongoDB experience
• Deep knowledge of sharding, replica sets, and transaction handling
• Proficiency in JavaScript/Node.js ecosystem
• Strong understanding of data modeling for multi‑tenant SaaS
• Experience with performance tuning and security hardening

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes deployments
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for database changes
• Background in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
