About the role

Vertex Analytics is building a data pipeline and analytics enablement platform for operations teams. We need a .NET Core Developer to design, implement, and optimize services that ingest, transform, and expose operational data in real time.

Key responsibilities

• Develop high‑performance .NET Core micro‑services for data ingestion and processing
• Implement Azure‑based data storage, messaging, and compute resources
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to define API contracts and data models
• Write unit and integration tests, ensure code quality, and maintain CI pipelines
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and tune services for scalability and reliability

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of professional .NET Core development
• Strong C# expertise and experience with Azure services (Functions, Service Bus, Cosmos DB)
• Proficiency in building RESTful APIs and working with JSON/MessagePack
• Solid understanding of data pipelines, streaming, and ETL concepts

Nice to have

• Experience with Apache Kafka or Event Hub
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
