About the role

CoreData Systems is seeking a Senior NLP Engineer to lead the development of a conversational AI platform that will power next‑generation customer support bots. The project focuses on building robust language models, integrating them with existing services, and delivering high‑quality, real‑time text understanding.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement end‑to‑end NLP pipelines for intent detection and entity extraction.
• Fine‑tune large language models on domain‑specific data.
• Develop APIs for model serving and real‑time inference.
• Collaborate with data engineers to ensure clean, scalable data flows.
• Optimize model performance for latency and accuracy.
• Document architecture and create reusable components.

Must-have skills

• Extensive experience with Python and NLP libraries (spaCy, Hugging Face, NLTK).
• Strong understanding of transformer architectures and LLM fine‑tuning.
• Proficiency in building and deploying REST APIs.
• Experience with JavaScript for integration tasks.
• Ability to work independently and mentor junior engineers.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with MLOps tools for model versioning and monitoring.
• Background in conversational design and prompt engineering.
