About the role
Keystone Digital is revamping a high‑traffic legacy production platform. The goal is to migrate core services to a modern stack while guaranteeing zero‑downtime for live users. You will own the PHP codebase transformation and ensure seamless continuity.
Key responsibilities
- Refactor and modularize existing PHP modules into Laravel components
- Design database migration paths that keep data live during updates
- Implement automated testing to validate behavior before each release
- Collaborate with DevOps to orchestrate blue‑green deployments
- Monitor performance and resolve bottlenecks in real time
Must-have skills
- 5+ years of professional PHP development
- Deep experience with Laravel framework and its ecosystem
- Strong MySQL expertise, including schema design and optimization
- Proven track record of zero‑downtime deployments
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Docker or containerization
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for PHP applications
- Knowledge of Redis or other caching layers
