About the role

Pinecrest Systems is revamping its customer‑facing services to boost performance and reliability. We need a Python Backend Developer to redesign core APIs, improve latency, and ensure fault‑tolerant operation.

Key responsibilities

• Refactor existing Django services for high concurrency
• Implement robust REST endpoints with comprehensive testing
• Optimize PostgreSQL queries and schema for speed
• Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting for production stability
• Collaborate with front‑end and DevOps teams to align release pipelines

Must-have skills

• 5+ years Python development, Django expertise
• Deep experience building and scaling REST APIs
• Advanced PostgreSQL performance tuning
• Proficiency with CI/CD and automated testing

Nice to have

• Experience with async frameworks (FastAPI, aiohttp)
• Familiarity with container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
