About the role

Vertex Analytics is enhancing its release pipeline to cut regression risk. We need a Terraform Engineer to design and implement infrastructure that powers automated test suites and supports rapid, reliable launches.

Key responsibilities

• Architect Terraform modules for provisioning test environments on AWS
• Integrate CI/CD pipelines to trigger automated regression suites on each build
• Collaborate with QA leads to define environment specifications and scaling policies
• Implement state management, versioning, and security best practices
• Provide documentation and knowledge transfer for ongoing maintenance

Must-have skills

• Advanced Terraform expertise for multi‑account AWS setups
• Strong grasp of CI/CD concepts and tooling (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
• Experience automating test infrastructure and reducing flakiness
• Solid understanding of networking, IAM, and security controls in AWS

Nice to have

• Background in performance testing or load simulation
• Familiarity with container orchestration (EKS, ECS)
• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as CloudWatch or Grafana
