About the role

Vertex Analytics is expanding its operations data platform. We need a Terraform Engineer for data pipeline and analytics enablement for operations teams. You will design infrastructure as code to automate provisioning and ensure reliable, scalable environments.

Key responsibilities

• Write reusable Terraform modules for AWS resources supporting ETL pipelines
• Integrate CI/CD pipelines to deploy infrastructure changes safely
• Collaborate with data engineers to align infrastructure with analytics workloads
• Implement monitoring, logging, and cost‑optimization best practices
• Document architecture decisions and handover procedures

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with Terraform on AWS
• Deep understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD tooling
• Ability to script and automate infrastructure workflows
• Proven track record delivering production‑grade data pipelines

Nice to have

• Experience with container orchestration (EKS, ECS)
• Familiarity with data warehouse solutions (Redshift, Snowflake)
• Knowledge of security compliance frameworks
