Senior Terraform Engineer for Production Container Platform Build

About the role

AlphaEdge Tech is preparing a major app store launch that requires tight alignment between mobile front‑ends and backend services. We need a Terraform Engineer to design, implement, and maintain the IaC pipelines that keep the cloud environment stable and reproducible during rapid feature cycles.

Key responsibilities

• Write modular Terraform code for AWS resources supporting mobile APIs and data pipelines
• Integrate Terraform workflows into CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment
• Collaborate with mobile and backend teams to translate architecture needs into cloud infrastructure
• Enforce security best practices, tagging, and cost‑optimization policies
• Provide documentation and knowledge transfer for ongoing operations

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with Terraform on AWS
• Solid understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD tooling
• Ability to script and automate infrastructure tasks
• Experience working in fast‑paced, contract environments

Nice to have

• Familiarity with mobile backend patterns (GraphQL, REST)
• Knowledge of container orchestration (EKS, ECS)
• Experience with monitoring and alerting solutions
