About the role

Vertex Analytics is revamping its customer‑facing services to boost speed and stability. We need a Vue.js Frontend Developer to lead the performance and reliability overhaul, ensuring a seamless user experience across browsers.

Key responsibilities

• Audit existing Vue.js codebase and pinpoint performance bottlenecks.
• Refactor components to leverage lazy loading, memoization, and optimal reactivity.
• Implement robust error handling and fallback UI for critical paths.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to fine‑tune API consumption.
• Set up performance monitoring dashboards and define reliability KPIs.

Must-have skills

• 5+ years building Vue.js applications at scale.
• Deep understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Proven track record improving load times and reducing runtime errors.
• Experience with modern build tools (Vite, Webpack) and performance profiling.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Vue 3 Composition API.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for frontend deployments.
• Exposure to Web Vitals and Lighthouse optimization.
