About the role
BrightMart Solutions is launching a brand‑new SaaS product from the ground up. We need a Terraform Engineer to define and implement the infrastructure foundation, ensuring scalability, security, and rapid iteration for a remote‑first team.
Key responsibilities
- Design, write, and maintain Terraform modules for core services (VPC, IAM, networking, databases).
- Integrate Terraform with CI/CD pipelines to enable automated provisioning and drift detection.
- Collaborate with developers and product owners to translate architectural requirements into IaC.
- Implement best practices for state management, secret handling, and environment segregation.
- Provide documentation and knowledge transfer for ongoing operations.
Must-have skills
- Strong experience with Terraform on AWS.
- Proficiency in building CI/CD workflows (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar).
- Solid understanding of DevOps principles and cloud security.
- Ability to work autonomously in a remote, fast‑paced environment.
Nice to have
- Experience with Kubernetes or container orchestration.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch or Prometheus.
- Background in greenfield product launches.
