Terraform Engineer – Release Engineering Delivery

About the role

Summit Digital is launching a sprint to accelerate releases through CI/CD and platform automation. We need a Terraform Engineer who can design, implement, and refine infrastructure-as-code pipelines that empower rapid, reliable deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Terraform modules for multi‑account AWS environments
• Integrate Terraform workflows into existing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar)
• Automate provisioning of networking, compute, and security resources
• Collaborate with developers to embed infrastructure checks into pull‑request validation
• Document best practices and create reusable templates for future sprints

Must-have skills

• 2+ years hands‑on Terraform experience in production
• Strong knowledge of AWS services (VPC, EC2, RDS, IAM)
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools and pipeline scripting
• Understanding of DevOps principles and version‑controlled infrastructure

Nice to have

• Experience with Terragrunt or Terraform Cloud
• Familiarity with container orchestration (EKS, ECS)
• Background in monitoring/infrastructure testing frameworks
