About the role

DataPro Services seeks a Part-time TypeScript Developer to modernize a legacy production platform while guaranteeing zero‑downtime deployments. You will join a small, agile team focused on incremental refactoring and feature delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Refactor core services from legacy JavaScript to TypeScript with strict typing
• Implement feature toggles and blue‑green releases for seamless updates
• Collaborate with QA to build automated regression suites
• Maintain documentation and runbooks for rollback procedures
• Participate in daily stand‑ups and sprint planning

Must-have skills

• Strong TypeScript expertise and type‑safe coding practices
• Experience with Angular or React front‑ends in production
• Understanding of zero‑downtime deployment patterns
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Docker or container orchestration
• Background in legacy system migration
• Experience with serverless functions
