The Data Entry Clerk role is an integral part of our operations team and will work closely with other departments to ensure seamless data management and customer service delivery. Key Responsibilities
- Enter data accurately and efficiently into our systems and databases
- Maintain and update databases to ensure data integrity and accuracy
- Provide administrative support to the operations team, including answering phones, responding to emails, and performing other tasks as required
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless data management and customer service delivery
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our systems, processes, and procedures
- Identify and report any data discrepancies or issues to the operations team
- Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure high standards of data entry and customer service
- Meet productivity and quality standards, and consistently deliver high-quality results
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies
- Participate in training and development opportunities to improve skills and knowledge
- Contribute to the development of policies, procedures, and standards for data entry and customer service
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required, post-secondary education in a related field an asset
- 1-2 years of experience in data entry, customer service, or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with others
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy in work, with the ability to meet productivity and quality standards
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with databases and other software applications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and report data discrepancies or issues
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of initiative and self-motivation
- Certification in data entry, customer service, or a related field an asset
- Experience with quality control and quality assurance activities an asset
