About the role

BrightMart Solutions is creating a robust data pipeline and analytics enablement platform for its operations teams. We need an Android Developer to design and implement mobile components that surface real‑time insights and allow field staff to interact with the pipeline directly from their devices.

Key responsibilities

• Develop native Android features that consume streaming data APIs.
• Integrate analytics SDKs and visualisation libraries for operational dashboards.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to define data contracts and error handling.
• Write unit and UI tests to ensure reliability under variable network conditions.
• Optimize app performance for low‑end devices used in field operations.

Must-have skills

• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java for Android development.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON parsing, and background services.
• Familiarity with Android Jetpack components and MVVM architecture.
• Ability to work independently and deliver clean, documented code.

Nice to have

• Exposure to data streaming technologies such as Kafka or Pub/Sub.
• Knowledge of analytics tools like Firebase Analytics or Amplitude.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for Android apps.
