About the role
We are preparing a major app store launch and need a Cybersecurity Analyst to ensure mobile and backend components are tightly aligned against threats. You will work closely with devops and mobile teams to embed security controls early in the release pipeline.
Key responsibilities
- Perform threat modeling for mobile‑backend interaction flows
- Design and implement security testing scripts for API endpoints
- Audit code repositories for insecure data handling patterns
- Collaborate with developers to remediate identified vulnerabilities
- Document security findings and provide actionable recommendations
Must-have skills
- Strong understanding of mobile app security best practices
- Experience securing RESTful APIs and backend services
- Proficiency in Python for automation and scripting
- Solid Linux administration and hardening knowledge
Nice to have
- Familiarity with OWASP Mobile Top 10
- Experience with CI/CD security integrations
